Our story
Bellevue Elite Tree Service was founded in 2004 by a second-generation Pacific Northwest arborist who grew up working summers in his father's Issaquah tree-care company. After earning his ISA certification and a forestry degree from the University of Washington, he set out to build a tree service Bellevue homeowners could actually trust — one with full insurance, honest assessments, and crews trained to ANSI A300 standards. Two decades later, the company has completed more than 12,000 jobs across the Eastside without a single property-damage insurance claim.
What started as a two-person crew working weekends in Issaquah has grown into a full-service tree care company with multiple climbing crews, a stump-grinding division, a crane partnership for large removals, and a 24/7 emergency dispatch line covering all 15 Eastside cities. Every crew lead is ISA-certified, every employee is W-2 (not 1099), and every job is covered by current general liability and workers' compensation insurance.
What we believe
We believe trees are long-term investments and that the cheapest tree work is almost never the best tree work. We believe honest assessments matter more than upsells — we will tell you when a tree does not need to come down, and we will tell you when it absolutely does. We believe Bellevue's Pacific Northwest canopy is one of the city's most valuable assets, and that protecting it takes credentialed, careful, properly insured arboriculture.
